I took a little trip down to Abilene last week and was able to capture a few shots of my sweet college friends, Jeff and Stephanie, who are expecting their first baby next month! They live on a beautiful piece of West Texas land that was perfect for their pictures and for incorporating all of their animals. :) Here are a few of my favorites! Enjoy!
When my friend, Amanda (aka the amazing Picturesque Photos by Amanda), asked me to do this gender reveal session I was thrilled! This was my first gender reveal to photograph and when I started getting texts from Amanda about what Heath was building to help with the reveal I could hardly wait! I worked alongside the creative Peacocks and Peonies to test out confetti which would fall along with some white balloons. In order to do this we had to know the gender of the baby about a week before we did the actual shoot so we could get everything ready. Keeping this secret was so worth it...to be able to document the excitement these two shared was priceless! Below are some of my favorites. Enjoy!

I have been looking forward to this newborn session since my fun (and cold) first meeting with her parents for their snowy maternity session! Chloe is such a doll! I loved meeting this sweet couple. They are expecting their first baby in January. We had their session scheduled for a while and then the snow came in. I was prepared to reschedule but Lilly told me they would love to do a snow session! I couldn't have been more excited! It was SO cold I'm talking 20 degree weather here...but you'd never know it! They were such troopers and didn't even act phased by the weather! We were so lucky to be able to use a beautiful couch from Peacocks and Peonies and it sure looked stunning in the snow!
